Tbh some of the facial customization in Sims 3 was terrible I really hope it's a lot better. Judging by the new games graphics though I kind of get cell shaded nintendo teas but with a bunch of realism

Wtf at genetics in sims 3. My 2 blonde parents had a kid with weird green-brownish hair.

Probably the father's mother's mother or something, tbh.

Parents were fresh from CAS, they had no parents.

This happens to me too. Apparently the game will add in random genetics, I think the devs said this years ago.

Sims 3 base has practically no genetics. It is almost all one parent or the other. Hair has like a 25% chance of mutation. Mods like Twallan and AwesomeMod make it have better genetics but still not as precise as The Sims 2.

Sims 3 genetics were a mess. I guess that's what you get when on the CAS you can't define people in black, brown, blonde and red. Since there was a spectrum of color the range comprehended between the father and the mother would apply to all their children so they can get any color in that range. It made sense in the sims 3 even tho poping out purple haired childrien out of ginger parents seems a little unlikely

I don't know how they will handle genetics but I hope that going to the hair salon and changing your hair color doesn't change you genetic code as well
