Imagine if Madonna released an album a la Ray of Light a couple years ago. Maybe not as good but dealt with the same subject matters. Or even a more mature dance album like COADF. Nobody would be deriding her for being 55. In fact people would be praising her for being 55 and still kicking ass.

Like I've said before, Madonna's just going through a rough period. Yeah, I think it does have something to do with age and current success, but it won't be the be all and end all of her. I think my ''David Bowie in the mid '80s to mid '90s'' was a good one, or when Bob Dylan had a mid-life crisis and started making Christian records. Or when Bruce got rid of the E Street Band and made some quite frankly terrible records in the '90s. She'll get over it, just like they did.

Plus, I think y'all are underestimating Madonna's self-awareness. If you think the woman who wrote ''Like a Prayer'' is being serious collaborating with LMFAO and Miley Cyrus, you need to tone it down a notch. She might be trying a little hard to be seen as ''cool'' or ''fun'', but if she thinks she has something important/vital to say, hopefully some time soon, she'll say it. And with any luck that'll be her Heathen/Time Out of Mind/The Rising.

It's quite the contrary, the GP doesn't drag MJ, they worship him. The way he was always shielded is upsetting.

I'm surprised more people don't stan for Daft Kings (who are also musical legends). They low-key destroyed everyone last era.

I don't have a problem with her collaborating with younger artists as long as the output is good. I'm not sure what she was thinking releasing GMAYL when I'm Addicted was screaming to be released. Although that demo version of GMAYL was actually not that bad.
