REGARDLESS of sales, this album's quality >>>> your fave's discography so let's not try it. Some of the best albums don't sell that well. Take Kate Bush's "Hounds of Love" album. FLAWLESS record. No one will ever come close to creating such a record. Was it #1 on the billboard 200 with 700k first week sales? Don't think so. I'll take quality from my fave with mediocre sales, than a trash album with mediocre sales like most of your faves. Stay mad at Queen's legacy and lasting impact.

In the US, both Barbara and Madonna have sold more.

Worldwide, Madonna is way ahead of everyone.

But please LAMBS. DO NOT FORGET BARBARA STREISAND in the US. She is one of my favs.

They meant your faves, not any artist. There of course are artists who have sold more than Mariah, but she's sold more than basically everyone on this forum's fave unless you're a Madonna stan or a Barbra stan, but like, who's a Barbra stan on here? (Love her to death, but does she even have stans?)

Mess, all of the people who are "shocked" by Mariah's sales probably haven't even purchased the album

Worse than MJ

Mariah could've sold 5 copies. She has nothing to prove in her career, she's just making music for her fans at this point.

And it's a great album in my opinion. This is what I've been waiting for, so if the sales aren't great...well that's everyone else's fault for not appreciating good music.
