Okay. Here are the Top 50 Country Songs. I used the A1 chart to rank by impressions (but I removed Cruise since its Country impressions alone would not have put it in the Top 50. I ranked the songs 1 to 50, placed the tracks where they were among all of the A1 songs. Songs gaining in impressions received a "+", and songs losing impressions received a "--". Also, I looked to see where each song was ranked on the I-Tunes Top 100, and the Spotify On-Demand Top 50 (Luke Bryan's "Play It Again" was the only Country song, and it finished at number 50), and added this information to the chart (but I obviously did not factor it in). I put 43 b for Cruise, which ranked 139 on the A1 Chart, but about a third of those impressions come from AC and HAC. Surprisingly, I see no other songs "crossing over" enough at another format to make a difference, though I do see Luke Bryan's "Play It Again" is getting airplay on at least one AC and one HAC station.

The only way I can rank the Rock songs by Impressions would be including non-rock impressions, or ranking any song that received airplay on either Active Rock, Alternative Rock, Mainstream/Heritage Rock, and Triple A among all of the songs, regardless of how much or little airplay came from one of the Rock sub-formats.
Is there any way to use the KWORB link to rank any specific format by impressions instead of detections? Or, is the A1 Chart the only chart that ranks by audience? I am new, (probably annoying to more than just a few) and I am a number cruncher, so if there is a way to rank just the four Rock sub-formats together my impressions, please let me know. I got a new printer, but I do not know how well the spreadsheet would print out to let me do the math.

Where did you get the higher impression total? You must have found something more updated, because I have Bryan at 71.7, and he has a good bit of momentum behind him.. Remember, Mediabase reconfigured the audience numbers down a few weeks ago, and "Play It Again" is still going over 70 million impressions.
I hope Bryan can get to 75 million and stay at Number One for five weeks, keep selling strong, build up audio and video streaming, and maybe finally AC/HAC/T40 will notice. If you remember, Carrie Underwood did not have to remix "Before He Cheats" for it to crossover, and her hit was more traditional Country (lots of fiddles/steel) than Play It Again.
By the way, I broke down the Country Chart based on All Access and A1. I have "Play It Again" at 18 in airplay, then 12 at I-Tunes, and 50 at Spotify (On Demand streaming, still working my way around to figure out how to access more detailed information like Vevo and the actual I Tunes figures).

Yes, go to any radio chart and click on the "aud" heading and the songs will get sorted by AI.

Well I see Jerrod Niemann teamed up with Pitbull for "I Can Drink To That All Night", and that is up to 80. The original mix was extremely contemporary. I am shocked Luke Bryan is nowhere in the Top 250. His songs are not that out of place for Top 40, and he is one of the biggest selling artists out there among all of the formats.
I have said it before, and I will again, Top 40 needs to pull a little more from Country and Active Rock, because AR has had some decent ballads that would have probably reached the Top Ten between 1999 and 2005. Even later in the decade than that, Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams hit #1 for 4 weeks in 2005, and Nickelback's "Photograph" and Hinder's "Lips Of An Angel reached the Top Three. Shinedown's "Second Chance #3 T40, #7 Hot 100.
Many people, even Top 40's main demographic group, listen to multiple formats these days, so Top 40 needs to continue to pull from a bigger and broader selection of songs. This is an improvement from 2010 and 2011, but still not where it needs to be.

Avicii didn't even flop. He was as good as a one hit wonder to Top 40 radio, and Hey Brother did amazingly considering he's not an established name there. It's also better than a lot of songs that have outdone it.

Sure, WMU was his only hit as an artist, but he's produced many top 40 hits for others and radio programmers know him for that.
