All the journalists saying it is a sure-fire #1 song after the listening parties.

I heard this on the radio at work today and I had to use every last reserve of restraint in my body not to bop out.

It's weird, because literally the only songs they play at work are Ed Sheeran's Sing, Pink's Glitter in the Air, Christina Perri's entire catalog, and Boyz II Men's And I Swear.

All the reviews for PRISM said the same thing.

Yeah but they also said Dark Horse was a flop and wouldn't go anywhere. Thats why I never listen to journalists. Im better at predicting hits than any of them sadly.

I mean, listen to it. It sounds just like a #1 hit. It's easy to listen to, catchy, and fun. It's easy to expect it to smash.

I think it flopping says more about the pop climate change than it does about Katy. If the queen of radio can't get a hit with a song as simple as 'Birthday', then it must mean things are changing.
