Madonna only got popular because she made a sexbook talking about having sex with minors, strangers, getting crabs, giving oral sex to dogs and other freaky things. That's what made people talk about her....Gaga used her beauty and talent instead of tryhard gimmicks lmao.
I dunno, whether you stan for Gaga, Katy, Britney, Pepcé, it doesn't really matter, it's all musical junk food. You're into mainstream pop music, you gave up your right to be elitist.

Sure, some pop music is ****, but mainstream pop at its best can be just as good as any other type of music at its best, regardless of popularity or genre.
Burger King is so gross. Everyone I have ever gone to have stale ass patties with wet ass fries. I only use their onion rings and chicken sandwiches. Rally's (Checker's depending on where you live) is aight.

I don't really follow Justin enough to comment but he can be Chick-Fil-A
and Beyonce is like Chipotle. Nice ingredients (real singing talent), but is vastly overrated on tumblr/buzzfeed/public. to the point where the admiration for either one isn't really genuine as much as it is out of a place that wants to make a funny little joke. (ex: take a look at the Beygency skit on SNL).
