I’m a little disappointed bc Nicki’s been going so hard on everything she puts out and every feature she’s done lately has been amazing so I guess I was expecting her to come with Bars™ for her first single but I mean when I hear this song I feel like I understand why it’s the lead single. She obviously needed something radio friendly and tbqh I think it’s catchy and she’s probably smart putting out something that sounds similar to a Pink Friday track but still new. idk I feel like this is one of those lead singles that doesn’t make a ton of sense as a standalone song but will sound much better in the context of the album

I’m def. gonna be disappointed if the whole album sounds like this though because I’ve been very hyped for Nicki to deliver something much more raw and menacing this time around and if she ends up giving us another light, fluffy record like Pink Friday it’ll be v. underwhelming

but for now I can enjoy Pills N Potions
