Storm is about to be the first female from Marvel to get her own cartoon.
The first WOC in comics to get her own cartoon.

There's been rumors swirling for months anyways seeing as though the animators of Young Justice posted a Storm sketch on their twitter a few months back.

Something is definitely up.

Seeing that big deal post makes me wanna scream & cry at the same time , i cant wait ! But if its gonna be cartoon 1st .. It probably take like 2-3 years until they decide to make movie to see the cartoon ratings tho =/

Well we don't even know that because her book isn't even out yet and they're planning a show, it should technically take years before a cartoon comes out but maybe they'll put some interesting stories in the show before they really start getting material from the comic.

A movie isn't far-fetched but I wouldn't want a movie from Fox unless they went strictly from the comic.

I can't wait for the animated series. I hope the woman who voices Storm in the fox animated series does it. She is amazing.

If they recast storm i thinkthe lady who played i star trek and columbiana should play her. Zoey something is her name. She would be good reboot. Shed edgy, exotic and does good in action flicks.

I agree Halle isn't a bad actress,and she doesn't look old at all,but she can't play a teen Storm.We need a younger Storm. Original Storm has run her course I guess.

and I love the nostalgia of the 90's(In my Mariah voice) but her voice acting and pronouncing words over dramatically like that in 2014 would be extremely cheesy,They should keep her current voice actress.

She's already playing a Marvel Character. It'd be weird for her to be Storm

Also I find Zoe bland in action roles(even more so than Halle)

Zoey is a good choice, but I could also see Lupita in the role. There is an earthy nature about her, especially when you see her in her Oscar dress. I think she can def pull off Storm's dramatic side.

Yeah but...she's just too black.
If Lupita was a few shades lighter, she'd be the perfect Storm actress right now.

She's just too crispy though.
