I just realized how much Rihanna's airplay increased with "Disturbia" this week, last week she was only at #37. Also, she only had a lead of 6,000 digital sales over Katy and around 56,000 over Chris.
I'm not sure if "Paper Planes" can keep up the pace with the downloads, but its airplay is staring to gain a lot of steam, so it could very well be around a while. Which is fantastic, of course.
"One Step At A Time" will definately be Top 30, but I am unsure about Top 20 yet (although LMAO @ "Overcome's" comments about it flopping and moving on). Why did "Bleeding Love" and "No Air" gain this week and I think Chris Brown's "Forever" might be #01 (it plays on the radio all the time!). When are downloads for "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" gonna pick up, cuz I definately noticed more airplay this week. Are the Jonas Brothers really releasing one song from their album each week so as to attain ridiculous peaks? - _ -
^"Bleeding Love" and "No Air" gained this week because they were featured on the finale of "So You Think You Can Dance." Downloads for "I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" most likely won't pick up, because Carey performed the song at the TCA and she still didn't reach the iTunes top 100. So unless she starts promoting soon, don't expect too much. And yes, the Jonas Brothers are releasing one song from their album each week, but "A Little Bit Longer" is the last one, because on Tuesday their full CD was released, so expect more debuts from the Jonas Bros next week.
