John/Jake were the older brooding artists. Joe and Taylor were the popular boys that every teen girl wanted at the time (she finally landed the HS quarterback). Connor was the handsome Kennedy that she was probably more intrigued with his family than him. His mother had committed suicide a few months before they dated so perhaps he was the first guy who needed her more than she needed him emotionally. He was too young, but they made a gorgeous couple.
