But that's that. In normal ppls lives ,there is not bodyguard and women can be VERY aggressive & hard to constraint. So if a man does try to constrain her, he might use force. Can't the woman accuse him of physical abuse?

Well, a back bear hug makes it very difficult for the woman to really attack since they can't see their target. Had Jay held Solange, it would've made it very hard for her to get any clean hits… Because the bodyguard wasn't her intended target, it made it really easy to kick and punch him since he was right there…
And as for your last statement, that's basically "he said, she said" right there and Jay would have the bruises to prove it. And if all a man did was hold on to her tightly, it's not abuse because he did not attack or physically assault her.
