Bieber's swoop haircut was more known than anything from the BOMT video.
He made headlines just for getting rid of it.
IHop you are a mess. Bieber had that haircut before the baby video and after it. BOMTs Lolita look inspired dozens of copies as well as made the catholic school girl outfit inseparable from Britney's name.
I really don't remember the BOMT era
I remember seeing the Oops video tho. The song was so catchy but my sister said she was talentless/couldn't sing and I kinda stopped paying attention to Britney after that.
I was young and easily influenced
What YouTube may not count are literal page refreshes as a new view (or clicking "watch again"), but I am 100% certain that if you watch "Baby" now and then tomorrow open YouTube and watch it again it will count two views.
Yes, it was well known that the story arc in Season 3 (???) where Justin goes to Hollywood to work on his gay superhero character and meets a famous gay director was based on Singer.
Yes it would Not instantly because YouTube takes a few hours to refresh views, but it absolutely does count multiple views from one computer

This proves it + if they were fake, they'd be removed after 4 years.
Mess. Bieber? Have you been sniffing his mop bucket? The only impact he ever had was on Ushers D. **** outta here with this ****
Lol don't lash out at me cuz that aging, balding, mentally unstable cow is done.
No one except her remaining legion of dumb white twinks cares about her (or her forgotten music videos) in 2014.
I wish RIAA/IFPI would count streams as a seperate entity from sales instead of trying to merge them
Free streams will never be the same as people actually buying stuff. It also makes the IFPI singles ranking useless because can't tell the actual sales fromthe free streams apart
Streaming is actually a better way to see people taste in music. Single sales are irrelevant in 99.9% of the world

But watching a video twice is not a "fake view" Fake views are from those computer programs that endlessly replay videos automatically or open an infinity of tabs with the video playing on them.

Which he basically suggest Beliebers did, with "raping the replay button".

But if you're interested in the sales (I mean that's why we use(d) the IFPI in the first place, they're the only source of globasl single sales), then merging the streams with the sales just gets in the way
