So I checked the album pre order for Scotty's second album. The album never went top 100 on itunes when it was for preorder. I read some pages on idolforums to compare Phillip and Scotty. Scotty was doing much much worse than what Phillip is doing and Scotty ended up selling 52,000 first week. Scotty has more of a rabid fanbase though while Phillip does not, so I don't know if it gives us any idea on Phillip.

Scotty Mcreery went from 197k to 52k for the loss of ~74
Adam went from 198K to 78K for the loss of ~61%
Cook from 280K to 46K for the loss of ~84%
Archuleta from 183K to 24K for the loss of ~87%
Jordin Sparks from 119k to 48k for the loss of ~60%
of course I want him to do well, I am just a realist and that is why I am calling things as they are. It would help if his album does well critically. Have any early album reviews popped up?

Amazon never disappoints me with their lower prices. Still the prices overall are much higher than other albums from artists. This is the label's doing. Wonder why prices are high.
Two morning shows and hopefully he gets a late night show. They just announced this past week that Scotty Mcreery will be performing for this coming Thursday's show, so maybe they announce the Finale performers this coming week
