lovesong reckons that this GLOBAL BEHEMOTH is an "undeniable classic. It's like a crime to not give this a 10." Subomie disagrees, blaming his dislike on that irascible Melanie Chisolm. supaspaz gets it: "Quite possibly one of the most madly hooky pop songs ever written, but it’s that rap verse that destined the Spice Girls for superstardom."

OMG this rate is not turning out to be like expected and I'm loving it.
I expected Scandalous to exit before the Top 20 and it's probably at 9.0 out of 10!

With Move, Scandalous was the track that caught me by surprise. I NEVER expected it to do this well. supaspaz conjures the ghost of a dearly departed sketch comedy figure for his review: "[Stefon voice]This song has everything: screaming sirens, rap breakdowns, barely-disguised double entendres, a last-minute dancehall switch-up, the ghost of Halle Berry’s film career, the ghost of Britney’s knee…[/Stefon voice]." Hearing this brought back memories of said "film" for BlueTimberwolf, but he shook it off and realized Scandalous still bops "to this day."
