Seriously, I'm so tired of being told to check my privilege, as if ethnic minorities, females, the disabled, and gay people are the only people in the world allowed to have problems.

Wrong. I fully understand the concept of privilege, but I believe we all have it in some way. Whites, straights, males, the abled, etc. don't have it in all circumstances.

Why do white people get so offended when they're told to check their privilege? No one said you're not allowed to have problems, everyone has problems. But if you're white, male, Christian, and/or straight, you have major privileges.
Not to mention that Jewish people weren't oppressed for their skin color but for their religion. This dude sounds an idiot.

Judging anyone by the colour of their skin is just wrong, no matter what colour you are you have a right to be threated with respect , and clearly this boy wasn't

Well, in the hip hop/urban industry, white people struggle to break in and have hits.
Privilege is situational.

He's confusing his messy family history with the systematic oppression of minority groups for generations upon generations.
White privilege means that despite his grandparents having it hard, he's now at one of the most prestigious universities in the world. Problem solved in two generations.
Meanwhile racial minorities or other oppressed groups are systematically prevented from even assimilating with the lowest ranks of straight white society over the last several hundreds years.

And the white privilege is being that, if you're white in hip-hop or rap, you're automatically praised/considered phenomenal. Ex: Macklemore, Eminem, Iggy.

Read any hip hop forum, Twitter feeds, comment section or Lipstick Alley. White performers are always dragged while mediocre performers of the preferred race are praised to high heavens.

Dearie, what the Nazis wanted to accomplish was a world only filled with people from the Aryan race, which would be anyone who wasn't tall, blonde and white

I hope you remember this post if you ever end up in some situation in life where you need help. Also l assume you'll refuse any federal aid/grants when you go to college, or any other form of government assistance during you life? I hope so!
