I wanna see all the haters in this thread talking when they see Katy getting number one after number one.

Her sales have remained consistent. She's been within the same 5 spots since it's release. Plus she's obviously got tons of hits lined up. "Hot N Cold" will take over radio this fall.

Then she's got the choice of releasing like... Waking Up In Vegas, Fingerprints, Thinking Of You, Self Inflicted, If U Can Afford Me, ect ect..

Her sales have been around 30k since the week it debuted. It hasn't gone any lower than 25k or over 40k. The sales are very consistent.

Hot N COld will bring her album to the summit! watch!

I'm happy her sales didn't drop since the album was released...I hope Hot N Cold will get them up but I'll be happy if she will keep selling 30k a week..

I can really see this album having longevity on the charts like other succesful pop albums "Autobiography", "Breakaway", "Let Go", and "M!ssundaztood"

It's the laziest accusation to throw at any new artist. Katy Perry has huge potential in the same way that another "she'll just be a one-hit-wonder" artist Leona Lewis has. Both should have staying power - their only crime seems to be hitting #1 on the Hot 100 with their first proper single release, a feat most acts can only dream of at any time of their career.
