The problem I have with Pretty Hurts is that Beyonce, Perry, Rihanna are all way too beautiful to pull off the message behind the song. It would sound more genuine coming from a popstar/performer who isn't regarded as a beauty icon.

It probably fits Beyonce best though, I can't imagine the others vocals on it.

No. If i.e. Gossip sing the song the message would be off. The line "what's in your head it doesn't metter" wouldn't make sense if Sia sung it because it is supposed to come from a perdon who is percieved beautiful but even the there is tons of preassure on her because she is not "perfect". Can you think of Beth Ditto peaganting her pain away?

The message is don't try to be beautiful like the pretty girls from tv/magazine because they often do stupid **** to look like this and to comfort with others perception of what is perfect and you don't wanna get caught thinking about how you look is everything cause in the end it doesn't bring you happiness.

I think out of all of them the message of the song would be most believable coming from Perry. Katy plays with her image for laughs and isn't obsessed with always looking impeccable. If Katy performed at the Super Bowl, she wouldn't try to have pictures of herself removed from the internet just because she looked bad in them. Vocally, Beyonce sings the song well, but it does ring hollow.

The song was best left with Beyoncé. Would've been awful with Rihanna and slightly better with Katy, but still bad.
