Britney Jean really is a personal album, in the sense that she was singing throughout half of it for the first time in 8 years. Her voice is more stripped down in most of the tracks more than in her last 3 albums combined. The only songs I can think of where you can hear Britney singing from 07-12 are Blur and Criminal (and even the latter is debatable). The rest of the tracks are sung by a brushed up meth crystal pop vixen who sang all of those songs inside a computer box, whereas in Britney Jean, you actually hear Britney JEAN in most of the tracks (Alien, Perfume, Don't Cry, Hold On Tite, Passenger), the same Britney Jean who belted out amazing notes in her first 3 albums. Now if you don't like that real Britney and prefer the dolled up sex bitch - I don't blame you, I love her too, but it's great to finally get a real personal album, especially since it might be the closer to an already diamond-crusted discography.

I largely agree with you Louie but the vocal production on many of songs suck, as well as the songs' dated production. The ones you named are done well but tracks like TTB, BA, ISBE, TIG...

Louie spelled the true tea here!!!! Britney Jean is her best album and most personal post breakdown at least !!!!!! But the situations were bad so we gave up!!!! They promised a personal album and then work b came even it's flawless we couldn't believe it that this was the title!!!! Anyway we can agree that the production is kind of dated but we can also say the we finally listen to britney in most of the songs and Finally she sings for a serious subject in half the album I will say it again alien perfume don't cry brightest morning star hold on tite now that I found you even till it's gone !!!!! That's half the album with flawless full of meaning songs that actually even britney can relate to now!!! Anyway everyone has an opinion !!!!!

Circus is more personal than Britney Jean. Thats her most personal album and its actually amazing as well without being too boring and sappy. Britney Jean is good, but very dated. The actual singing and lyrics are great though.

Tik Tik Talent is better than Body Achne. The only tolerable part is the chorus and I am not even sure if it's Britney singing it.
