The sooner Madonna dies the better for her legacy. The more time passes the less people will remember her when she was cool/not embarrassing.

Her not having talent is irrelevant. When she dies, everybody and their dog will be kissing her corpse just like they did with MJ and Whitney.

And she's the biggest selling female artist of all time. If that doesn't make you legendary in pop music then nobody else is. The point of pop music is to sell lots and lots of records anyways. It is POPular music so I don't see your point about her not doing anything legendary except sell records. That's all she needed to do.

Madonna was truly great until Hard Candy. Even after HC, she wasn't that bad in a musical aspect. MDNA was truly awful tho.
But being smart as she is, I wouldn't doubt she still can turn things around, even being already 98yo.
