ATRL, the ***flawless pop music forum. A bit on how I got here: In August 2012 I was just searching for Taylor Swift stuff and I chanced upon this. I soon fell in love with the discussions, games and even being able to create your own charts. So I applied. I tried 5 times, only to get rejected. And then registrations closed till August 2013 when I finally got in. It was so good to finally get in, after one whole year.
Anyway, despite me being a new member, I've seen ATRL gone through a few iconic moments in the past year. So for this trinity, I would be symbolising each of these iconic events in 3 songs, all by ATRL's favourite pop girls.

Tbh I didn't witness this incident happen, but according to 99% of ATRL, this is the most iconic moment ever. Apparently some girl posted a picture of her credit card online with all her information on it, so members just jumped on it and bought their fave's albums a thousand times, paid for gay **** memberships and all sorts of ****. Throw the money up!

I was lurking during this period, and even for a lurker, it was HORRIBLE. Surfing was such a pain, it took forever to load a page, and the OC messages were just the most annoying thing ever. Everyone was complaining about how the web developers were so incompetent, taking forever to get the new server up. If this song was out before that period, you know everyone is gonna shout at them to work bitch (as a term of endearment). The only good thing that came out of that period are the gifs.

ATRL's most favourite pop girl meets her downfall and every stanbase lashes out their snarly cackles and shades. This period was just a mess. A huge mess. Stan wars broke out every damn where and everyone just got so messy. It's like after all these years, all the other stans have come out and just ganged up against Gaga when they see that's she has flopped. Well oh well.
Of course the list of most iconic moments in ATRL is not exhaustive and you may think others are more iconic, such as when UKMix and ATRL merged, or the No Holds Barred thread, or even JessieJHeartBeat breaking her leg/"dying". As much as these events define our time in this amazing community, at the root it is our love for pop music and culture that has led us to this forum. No matter what stan wars, no matter the shade, no matter how dumb some members can be, the allure of ATRL is deeply rooted within all of us.

When I first signed up for ATRL I felt like I was on the outside looking in. Everyone was cool with all of their other stanbase members and the "iconic/popular" users. This is one of the most challenging times to be a member here. It's time to establish yourself as a user, which type will you be? A Ks_dollar type (goofy and humorous)? The "...Vin" type (A hater pretty much )? Or the ordinary member who's outside looking in. It took me a while to finally get out of the Nicki Minaj base and finally explore ATRL and I chose this songs because it represents how I felt when I signed up here.
What keeps me coming back to ATRL are my fellow Barbz. The connection we have is bigger than any other fanbase. We go through thick and thin to defend Nicki but we go through it as a group. We're all in this together. Im sure Katie knows how we wreck our base, how often we get it closed, how often we bicker but its ok. I also feel like Im not alone, no one but them understands the love I have for Nic, they understand me and I understand them.
Now, looking back at it, most of us (if not all) are overly sexual human beings who love to have fun. Thats all it is, We Like to Party. I chose this song because it somewhat summarizes what ATRL is to me. The song talks about sexy things much like ATRL posting pics of barely-legal teenage boys. But on the other hand Bey says "We Like to Party" because in comparison, ATRL drags, shades, and has stan wars all for fun in games. ATRL is a great experience and a WP won't hurt anyone.
Just like title says "Everybody's Changing" so do we, people on ATRL. Each year I notice some people dissapearing from ATRL, they just dissapear, and don't come back. I guess they finally found the true meaning of their lives, and they don't have time for ATRL. + People are changing, new people change old memebrs, which I truly miss, because 50% of new memebrs are a mess. I miss people like JessieJHeartbeat, Beyonce On Top & KT&T, my first friends in here.
Gossip. Gossiping & spreading rumours is so popular in ATRL. Just go to blgos, and you will see many different stories about members of atrl. People keep making stuff up, just to get a popular blog or thread. These stories spread very fast in ATRL, cause ATRL gurls are thirsty for some gossip about other member, celebrity. Word gets around fast.
Mean Girls. Atrl is full of mean/messy girls (Starships, Nicole, pika...) Just go to blogs, you better don't drag their faves, cause these girls will rip you to shreds, they go hard. if you some newbie & or annoying, these girls will have no mercy on you, if you will drag their fave. Time on ATRL proved me that I should know what I'm talking before I'm talking, because if I spill some mess, I will get ripped to shreds.

Stan wars are one of the major parts of ATRL. It's inevitable that bitter fights will break out when stans for different artists are in a thread together. Some infamous fanbase duels that seem like they will never end are the Navy vs. the Hive, the Navy vs. Rita Ora Stans, the Barbz vs. Lambs, and of course, Madonna Stans vs. Little Monsters.

I discovered this forum searching on Twitter information about the artists I like. I lurked for almost 2 years and I finally created an account last year. ATRL is place where music lovers can discuss about the current music scene. I picked this remix because it's a pefect example of the popular artists on this site.

Sometimes these discussions become messy. A stan is someone who is overly obsessed with a celebrity. The stan-wars are very common on ATRL and they're entertaining most of the time but sometimes they go too far and it makes me doubt about the mental health of some members.
MEMBERS
But after all ATRL is a place where we can interact with people from all around the world. I think this is the most important thing about this site. It's really interesting to read what other people from other cultures think and It's amazing how we all ended up here despite our differences just because our passion for the music.
