You guys are overhyping this a bit though. It's nowhere as near as catchy as her last first single VIdeo Games/Born To Die.

I'm assuming they are using the "release the decent single first and the smash single second" technique to gain hype and put the artists name out there. Justin Timberlake did it with Suit & Tie to Mirrors.

I will never understand why people use "catchy" synonymously with something being bad. It's truly one of the most pretentious things I can imagine when it comes to music. "No, see...we like it because it WON'T get stuck in your head. It's NOT catchy!!!! That means that not EVERYONE will like it which is good."

Excuse me for enjoying catchy songs. It's not the end of the world if a song is catchy. It only makes it better. Lana has the ability to make her songs very multi-faceted--with the production, the vocals, the lyrics, and still have a catchy-factor. It's just stupid to me that people will like something more just because it's not "catchy."
