It would be less sad if Lady Gaga didn't actually care about the charts. Like if she was a Lily Allen type of artist who has hits and misses and doesn't care either way because she's Lily Allen and no one really cares about Allen anyway. But Gaga cares so much about charts (no matter how much she says she doesn't) that it makes this whole decline a tragedy. Poor girl.

The other girls at least flopped with with many hit albums and singles under the belt. Gags did it only with 2.5 albums. A record of new exciting positions.
