Well, I was raised by a single mother. My father encouraged her to have a child and when she was a student. But when I was 3 months old, he couldnt handle all the financial problems and left me and my mom without any support.
So when a man encourages a woman to have a baby which she doesnt want or is not prepared to raise at the moment, promising her that he will support her and help her, how we should know that he fully understands the consequences and doesnt run away when the real problems start, while women would be forced to risk her life by giving birth and go through all of it (raising the child - a life changing decision, or going through the adoption process and be heartbroken after giving away the child she carried for 9 months) alone?
So, men, show your gf support and tell her your opinion, but you have no right to force her into anything. If she doesnt want to have that baby, then she has the right to have an abortion, if you like it or not.
