People CAN name albums, if the album was a massive hit like Thriller or a critically acclaimed smash that lives on after its acclaim via other outlets like Illmatic. People won't remember a Rihanna album because she never had a big nor critically acclaimed smash. Most people remember or at least acknowledge a few hits out of an artist's catalog with the exception of a few legends. A lot of things are nitpicked by the public.
Mess Rihanna has been consistently more acclaimed than Beyonce on metacritic excluding this visual album. So unless you want to tell me that BEYONCE is all people will remember you might have to try a different approach.

it's safe to say that isn't the case with any of the pop girls. Even 'The Fame Monster' which sold massively. 21 is the only memorable album from this era of music so far (the 10's)
As always Godney was thinking ahead knowing one day pharell would be big. It just took him longer than she anticipated. Better than most other R&B artists tbh
This forum is so lost when it comes to Urban music.
He was already big then, and doing songs for Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson, Usher, Prince, etc.
You'd think after waiting so long for an album/era (a horrible one btw but not relevent) the HIVE would be happy and concentrating on their bish. Apparently not. Heh
I don't really know what you're talking about ... all I see is Beyonce outselling every recent female album but ok
So we can't count DC sells with Beyonce.but you people love to say.
"It took her 17 to do this" or "her solo debut was huge because she was the main focus of a huge group"
People love acting like DC wasn't basically just Beyonce + her backup singers for whatever reason when it's convenient yet shade Michelle and Kelly for being so irrelevant

Like I said, no one remembers a Rihanna album because they're not big, culturally relevant or have received widespread acclaim (much more than a 70+ score on Metacritic - something no one pays attention to more than gays on pop forums, which is ironic since pop ain't even seeing it on that site). Her poor catalog sales and lack of references say so. Nothing of what I said is untrue.

Thriller is conviently the name of his biggest HIT too. I rest my case.
