I was quite surprised when I saw the figure (thanks CarCAL22 for pointing it out). I never said Carrie is a legend (her career is only 3 years odd, how can that be possible?? And country music is only for US/Canada Market, it's hard for country music to reach out to the world now). And Utada's album's sales is mainly in Jap market (about 75%), the other markets are Taiwan, Hong Kong (ok, she got one album charted at #160 in US Billboard 200 though!). So for Jap, yes she is. For Asian market, may be yes. For the world? No (even she got 5#1s album in UWC!)

Sales are sales. A person is paying for the ringtone. Ringtones are *massive* in Japan and Utada is massive as well so it's not surprising she sold that much. Also Flavor Of Life is a world class song. The best on the list.

What a Legendary song. This song has been stuck in the top 20 since May something. Wasn't it released before May 20th? Damn. You'd think after the Leavin' [Single] was removed, it wouldn't manage to crack the top 50 again with the Departure version, but nooooo, he's back in the top 20.

Lol youguys ... Japan is IN the world, it is NOT the world. And I am not the one who argue abt the sales what? I am arguing abt the LEGEND. What i mean is LEGEND does not necessary to have great album sales and person who has great Album Sales is not necessary a LEGEND. THat's why I said Utada is a LEGEND in Jap Market, but not the world, since the influences on the market outside Asia are not significant (because of language barrier and stuffs)
