Uhm OK. Its sad that they're all young people too. None of them even had any actual reasons. Especially the guy pointing to the girl. Thats cool and all if you want to get married to her, nothings stopping you. Its not like the gays want to define marriage as between a man and a man.

Side note: At this point in my life I actually still believe in the Bible, at least most of the way. I don't agree with the way people interpret it though. It really makes me sad that a book about love and peace can be interpreted in a way that stops people from being able to be who they are.

You know, if they believe something is wrong then they should keep it to themselves instead of forcing it into others. I can't believe that they are smiling like they are genuinely thinking they did something good. They have brainwashed. This is why I am proud to be an atheist to be honest, because that enables me to respect other people as long as they are respectful. Also, they should support polygamy since it was in the Bible. And cheating. And they should punish mastrubation because God said so in the Bible. He actually killed a guy who masturbated. But at the end, doesn't the Bible say you should love others like you love yourself? That means letting them be happy!

Homosexuality is of nobody's control. It is proven that it can be genetic or hormonal. I learned that in a private Catholic school btw. Also, my parents have many friends that are married yet uninterested in having children. What about them?

I just don't understand why people can't mind their own ****ing business. Like, if I want to marry my boyfriend that is MY choice and if they say i'm going to hell then i'm going to take that consequence when the time comes. They have no right to tell people how to live + I bet you $50 that one of those guys (6) is a raging queen that feels like they have to hide behind religion to be accepted.

Also, the third excuse of "Its what I believe in" isn't a reason at all and shouldn't be included because it doesn't reflect more than one person.

Christians don't even have a right to define what marriage is, its different for everyone of different backgrounds, cultures and religions. Its an ancient practice with multiple definitions. America, a country supposed to be known as a melting pot of these things needs to take this into account.
If you believe passages from a book written 3,500 years ago that the church deemed was "The World of God" and people over the centuries have just followed then that is totally your right. But you have absolutely no right to impose these beliefs upon complete strangers with different beliefs.

Religious freedom is the whole reason why religious people ave been preventing gays to marry since this country was founded. Actually I'm sure same-sex marriage wasn't even a possible option until maybe 30 years ago.

You can just tell that they're saying this because their parents forced it upon them

I mean its fine to take your kid to church, show them your religion whatever, but they need to be taught to think for themselves and not just blindly follow whatever they say
