If I didn't remember wrong,they said that the lyrics are so meaningless and hard to understand,then they quoted the "And you try to take me home like you're DiMaggio" as an example

I don't see how the lyrics are meaningless though. Sure they may be a bit random at places, like the DiMaggio line, but that doesn't take away from the meaning of the song.

Who cares about DiMaggio? Adding him to the song makes it more interesting (even though it's random), and you cannot deny that the lyrics are clever, and points to JeMi's romance.

I mean, these lines (And you work so hard to get me just to let me go / Why are we acting like lovers, we don't know each other, even though we used to rule the world / This is the bend before the break when we forget the harmony. This is how watercolors fade into distant memories) are just outstanding.

I feel like many don't even know the song exists I adore the song, its in my top 20 songs of hers played in my iTunes library.

I love Aftershock. I created a CD for the car with it on there. I love listening to the vocal showcase of it on youtube as well.

So for a casual radio interview where it kinda seemed like they barely knew who Demi was, they actually answered a bunch of things we've discussed in this thread.
