Gross /=/ impact.

Sure Avatar made a lot of money, but when it was out not even a 1/4 of the amount of people talking about Frozen were bragging about it. It was kinda just there.

Frozen's talked about everywhere, the album is slaying, the songs are slaying, the DVD release is slaying.. Frozen will go down as a classic.

Frozen isn't really a phenomenon it just has one hit single from it's soundtrack

There's nothing iconic about Avatar tbh. Not a line, not a song, nothing. It was visually stunning (SERIOUSLY beautiful) but that was it. Highest grossing film ever but it sure doesn't feel like it.

Avatar made ~$200m in China alone lol.
