i cant, sorry. i havent dueled since the tournament and still want to make a new deck. any suggestions?

Zombie World deck, Plant-Type deck, Fish-Type deck, Cyber Dragons, Evil Heroes, etc.

I tried plant and it was a mess.

Lemme try the cyber dragons though. Sounds interesting

I just re-watched the first episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! DM
It was awful and I'm glad they changed some rules
Like you could summon lever 7 monsters without any sacrifice

I have these

i remember sacrifices being a thing since the first decks were released (yugi/kaiba etc), just not in the anime.

What happened is that at the time they were using the rules of "Magic and Wizards", as the duelist kingdom arc in the manga wasn't about Duel Monsters but that game. Then in the manga starting at battle city they start playing a new game called Duel Monsters; that's why in the anime they start playing with the normal rules.
