I nearly went nuts when my other laptop died on me with all of my music when I had a ton of my stuff backed up on my external hard drive (Ironically it died when I moved into my new place, which makes me wonder...), so I definitely sympathize with those who lose EVERYTHING and don't have at least some of their stuff backed up. Trying to get all of that stuff back is a wreck. It didn't take long for me to get the stuff I did lose, tho.

It took me like a year, I made a list, and started little by little. I got back like 70% of it now. But it's really a nightmare, even if you don't listen to ALL of it, just losing it is tragic
