When have I ever cited Ke$ha's ballad writing as an example of her musical prowess?

I mean the slower songs that she writes are just fine, but Ke$ha is at her best when she's writing party-rock like Only Wanna Dance With You or Timber or Die Young. She's got a knack for writing catchy music, and it all feels really genuine. I think her "real music" won't be too far off of the **** she's writing right now, just probably with different, less derivative chord progressions.

I mean of course her best song of all time is Past Lives, but that's not a ballad that's just a psychedelic slow jam.
