I'll check it out then, I have been looking for a good political show in ages, and I knew about it before since it's constantly nominated for Emmys but was just lazy to watch it.

HoC is great though, but the second season left me kinda disappointed.

If you're looking for strictly a political show then you're not gonna find it in The Good Wife. It's more of a legal show with political tie ins than a pure "political show". The show centres around Alicia and her law firm, with her politician husband as a subplot.

The last half of season 4 leading into the first half of season 5... season 5 episode 5 "Hitting The Fan"... woo lawd.

I have never perched so hard on the edge of my seat for an episode of TV as I did for the "Hitting The Fan" episode of The Good Wife. It was so perfectly timed, written, and executed.

Like... everybody better take home Emmys for that episode. The defecation on everybody else was real.
