I was at the gym yesterday and was listening to iHeartRadio and realized what "Honey" by Mariah Carey sampled after all these years. I heard the song on it. Her choice for samples is pretty damn amazing.
The Honey video was practically the only video they showed on tv screens at my local mall for some reason, like I'm sure they had that on every 15 minutes between the ads
And the white girls and light-skinned girls bopping to it at :25 - :45 are so cute. I would have never guessed this is what it sampled since I haven't heard this song in a long-time.
Clump, what did u think of Gagz Manicure performance this week? I found it messy and not as great as the itunes festival performance, but then again everything she's been doing lately is messy. She is a lost cause, not even a video shot at Hearst Castle sounds appealing anymore. She fxcked up her presentation of it, we don't even know for what song and when/if it will be sent to radio. Oh well.
Mariah's sampling makes me mad. I heard these 2 songs come on the radio, and mistaked them as her singles. My face was SO EXCITED they'd be playing her rare singles like that, then I realized it was the original song.

It is kind of the worst song on the album though.
