I tried listening to some of his 'hits' but his voice is so disgusting, he sounds like Walter White post-cancer.
You don't get it. Try listening to his Ziggy album. That's a really nice way to start listening to him. My first Bowie album I listened was Low I was like 20? Took me a year, but after revisiting him I got it.
When music you didn't get at first is making sense = great feeling.
No, it happened when I was 19 and I just started to gain a huge interest in music. It sort of happened. All of my music just became older. It was natural.
Suddenly, I woke up and I thought... I'm NOT going to listen to Thom Yorke's ****ing whiny voice anymore. And then I downloaded Talking Heads and Kraftwerk and **** then just got real. Still my favorite bands after all of my own discoveries.
I guess sites like AllMusic and 4chan had something to do with it, but I definitely left Pitchfork as soon as I heard that older music was more my likings. Also, p4k is a huge Radiohead stan. Like gtfo.

She's always been a singles artist there (the two eras she had hit singles there). And lol, her tour tickets are so cheap in Germany; one or two sold-out arenas in a country of 80 million+ is not an accomplishment.
