But what annoys me the most is this whole act of rebellion. So what, now that you're flopping you go out with **** like screaming **** YOU POP MUSIC, but before the album came out ARTPOP was all about ART and POP coming together? I don't get it.

Let's say, for instance: Young girl at 19 was sexually abused and the only way she felt she could express it was to draw a painting to explain it to her parents - any psychiatrist would accept that. But Gaga referencing sexual abuse by having someone puke over her is something so bizarre that it is literally flying over everyone's heads? I refuse to believe people are THAT stupid. Someone puking over you is disgusting and you don't want it, nor do you want a man forcing himself on you.

You're supposed to be disgusted and outraged by the performance, but you can't be that unintelligent to not understand it.

As pathetic and vile as the barf thing is, I think this whole "**** you pop music" thing bothers me more.

Up until now Gaga has spoke openly about how much she loves pop music and how she wanted to inject her art into the pop landscape.

Until she flopped, it seems. Now suddenly she hates pop music. Seems like a bad attitude to me.

For the first time in my (almost) 5 years as a Gaga stan, I am so disgusted and I'm not even sure that she is mentally well at this point.

This is too much for me.

She can't deal with the rejection of the public with her "album of the millenium", so she's all rebel now, I felt sad watching the beginning of the concert yesterday, she looked and sounded like she was high the whole part I watched.

It's because she cares about success much more than art and pop coming together, I think she didn't expect her album to flop this way, it's not just the critics but also buyers of music aren't liking what they are hearing from her now and she thinks it's because there's a hate campaign against her and not because of her music and antics.

It's not about a lack of understanding. I get that she's trying to show "art" or whatever. I get that it's fitting with the message of the song. However, that doesn't detract from the basic fact that she had somebody throw up on her due to unnatural bulimia, carried out right on the stage in front of a large audience. There are boundaries that can be pushed, sure, but this isn't pushing the boundaries, this is crashing through them with a steamroller intending to create a ruckus without giving two ****s about the ramifications.

oh ok then. i realize its a DISGUSTING MESS. i love it because its only from a revolting mess like that that one can come close to feeling the meaning of the song. i get that other may feel put off by it but being put off by it and saying "gaga's done" "im done with gaga" or anything of the like are two very different things. also, appreciating the performance for its concept and execution and emotive power is possible without enjoying it.

however what's all this nonsense about suddenly hating pop music? her own genre? is that because she's at a festival? i mean her album is called "artPOP". the music is as pop as can be. how can you say you're hating something you're promoting? i bet 2 months later she'll scream she loves pop again.
