Just because yours is positive and someone else's in negative doesn't make their obsession any worse than yours.
There's nothing wrong with being passionate about things you dislike, especially when it involves ethics but the things you do, and what you have tried to do, is discredit by calling it "obsession" well I'm sorry to inform you that, that doesn't work.
