^Probably because Rihanna fever starts to spread every summer, she has the ultimate summer songs
I swear if Don't Stop The Music was released right after Umbrella it would have became a bigger hit then it already is, including #1's in the US and UK.
^Agreed Although I do like how she ordered the singles, I think if she had released "Umbrella" 1st "Don't Stop the Music" 2nd, and "Breakin' Dishes" 3rd then Rihanna possibly could have had three consecutive #1's
I definitely think 'Hate That I Love You' deserved more sucess than it got though, imo it's one of the standout tracks on the album :X
It's a great song but not really a good single choice. At least not when you still have songs like Breakin' Dishes or Sell Me Candy waiting to be released.

What they're saying is it didn't follow the success of her previous singles. If she had released "DSTM" second it would've done close to "Umbrella" success.
^Yeah definitely, I don't know why she chose the singles she did, I think that Shut Up & Drive could've even went top 10 had it followed two #1 singles
01. Umbrella (Summer)
02. Don't Stop The Music (Fall)
03. Rehab (Early Winter)
04. Shut Up And Drive (Late Winter)
05. -->RE-RELEASE WITH A LESS ****** SONG<-- I refuse to name TAB
06. Breakin Dishes (Summer/Fall)
THE END
Would be either nearing, at, or past 2,000,000 if it were released like that. "Rehab" is soo her "Say It Right".
