Her influence on these girls comes from the image she projects, and that image comes from her songs and videos, not her success as a businesswoman, which most people aren't even aware of. In her own words, Pepcé has more power than her mind can digest. But rather than use this power to help further the cause, all we really see her do is take her clothes off to please her man. She is teaching girls that their value and power comes from sex. That the most important thing in a marriage is sex.
No one is saying that it's wrong for a woman to be a sexual being, but as a woman with so much power and influence, if she truly cared about feminism she would take responsibility and not perpetuate the stereotypes and traditional gender roles that feminists like Chimamanda fight against.
But what's a girl to do when she is tired of flopping and sex is the only thing that will bring her youtube views, attention and sales.
