i mean coming out has been one of the most difficult decisions and task to take. it's one of the hardest things I've done in my life. breaking my parents heart and those around me yet the best thing I've done.

No. Living in a country that was at war, and seeing my dad going to a war. Did it change me? Yes. I became more religious. Is it something that I cry because everyday? No. Life goes on, at least for me. I was 10 back then tho...

No. Personally, and if we are talking about ''gay problems'' (whatever may that mean), I'd say finding someone you like that's gay and likes you back or like finding other gay people to hang with and just be friends are worse problems. At least for me lol.

I think it just depends on the individual. For some people it's very hard as they have families and friends who are very unaccepting and live in areas that discriminate against gay people, and yet others aren't in that situation and have a much easier coming out experience.

That is a minuscule problem when you think about it in a larger scale, but I totally get how scary it can be. I'm too scared to come out even though I have a bunch of support around me.

Is coming out the hardest thing for a gay person? Every person has problems, health issues etc. But the question is asking specifically about a gay person, hence the topic is about sexuality not cancer or something

I think the hardest part about being a gay person (I'm not gay) would be being taken seriously. For some reason, I see a lot of gay people always having what they say being taken lightly, even regarding serious matters. It doesn't help when a lof of a gays talk like this "So I'm like seriously pissed off about ____", "I'm like so sick of this I can't even deal" etc. and it sounds like they don't really care about what they are saying, and serious things don't come across as serious because some of them talk as if it's an episode of the Hills.

I think it's also partly because if you're gay you're often seen as "funny" as the overall description.

I thought it was before I came out, but once I did it, it felt like a huge burden was lifted off my shoulders. My parents weren't the most accepting, but they're fine with it now.
