I think they are planning to release it after the Grammy deadline but the lead single will come out much earlier, maybe late July or early August. I don't think Columbia would want to have two of their artists battle it out for the upcoming Grammys.

If XL is in charge, I am pretty sure we will get some new material before the Grammys deadline.
I'm going to need her to release before the Grammy deadline so Taylor at least has a chance to win something with her next album.

I love Taylor, but if she couldn't do it this year with Red, I doubt she'll be able to do it when she's up against the likes of Beyoncé, and we all know Bey is getting an Album of the Year nomination. Plus, Taylor might release too late for her album to be nominated.
