Again, you're straying away from the focal point, yes. The reason why they're disliked is moot. The point is, that they're both disliked. People don't like Gwyneth Paltrow. People don't like Anne Hathaway. And soon people won't like Jennifer Lawrence. I'm not making these things up, kids. And actors certainly do command drawing power, moreso than musicians -- it just depends on the actor. 8.5 times out of 10, a film starring Leonardo DiCaprio will be successful ("The Wolf Wall Street" crossed the $300 Million mark a couple weeks ago). Will Smith used to always be a bankable star, until he started shoving his douche of son, Jaden Smith, down America's throat at every turn. As a result, Will Smith's star has faded greatly.
