Lol there is not really any comparison there. Gwynny cultivated a legion of haters because of all the off-putting, deluded/hilarious stuff she's said in interviews over the years, not because of her Oscar win.
People don't even care about Anne like that, which kind of ties into the other point. Of course nobody is seeing Interstellar for Anne Hathaway, but she still gets the paycheck and has it on her resume if its a success (kinda like a feature hit, I guess?).
Actors don't command the kind of drawing power to their product that musicians do these days, but they're also more capable of turning their public image around with the right role.
But DEATH at someone who stans for Ke$ha and Kristen Stewart talking about being liked by the public.
