Christina's manager, Irviing Azoff, speaks
Richard Abowitz: I remember at one Tiger Jam a few years ago, Christina Aguilera performed. But there were a lot of rumors that she had just split with her manager before the show and hired you, and there was a lot of backstage stuff. Can you fill us in on what happened?
Irving Azoff: That bill had her, Seal and LeAnn Rimes. I met her just before that. I went to Denver the night before and met up with her. We flew together to Las Vegas and we had our first meal together at In 'N Out Burger and then we went to the Mandalay. It was a very traumatic time in her life. Her parents were there. The show was an odd combination and there was some LeAnn Rimes drama about who was going on first and who was using pyro and other crap. But it was fun.
Abowitz: Is there any back story you can tell us about Christina Aguilera's appearance in "Shine a Light" (the Rolling Stones film directed by Martin Scorsese)?
Azoff: A magical moment. You need to see it on the big screen. They filmed it on two days, but did not really rehearse it. The show was very spontaneous. The first day was good. But everything about it worked the second day. The way she interacted with Mick and the way she nailed the song. She may be the greatest female singer alive. It was a great event.

INCREDIBLE reviews of Christina & The Rolling Sones "Live With Me"
The Rollingstones: "She was brilliant, amazing.. like Aretha Franklin"
CHRISTINA AGUILERA has the backing of rock royalty after joining the Rolling Stones in their new movie.
The rock legends invited the singer to perform with them on their concert film Shine A Light - released next Friday and directed by Martin Scorsese.
The band admit she was an unknown quantity for them but they were all wowed by her voice.
Ronnie Wood said: "Man has she got a fantastic voice. She was brilliant, amazing...like Aretha Franklin."
And Mick Jagger explained they were keen to take a chance on working with Christina because she had been highly recommended to them.
Mick said: "We always have guests in our shows. You think 'Now who's going to fit in? Who's going to be able to do this duet and have a different appeal to the audience?'
"Buddy Guy was great person and Jack White had already opened for us onmany occasions, so we knew him.
"It's always best to have people you know rather than the unknown, you want someone who'll turn up and deliver. But Christina was fantastic."
Quote:
Appearances by Jack White of the White Stripes and bluesman Buddy Guy in the Stones' nod to their musical roots are high points of the concert, as is a duet with Christina Aguilera on "Live With Me," which brings out Jagger's nascent sexuality even more as the two carouse on stage in a way we haven't seen since Jagger performed with Tina Turner.
Quote:
The Stones get some help on various duets from a star-struck Jack White, a cool Buddy Guy (on the Muddy Waters tune "Champagne and Reefer") and Christina Aguilera, who initially seems like an odd choice, but she does match Jagger with her on-stage dynamism.
Quote:
It’s better when Jagger shares the spotlight with guest stars with, amazingly enough, Christina Aguilera, who brings much-needed va-va-voom to a stage full of old toothpick men—and who reminds you that Jagger, however self-contained, isn’t just about autoeroticism. Watch the way those pillowy lips form the word “Ag-gwee-lair-ahhh.”
Quote:
Christina Aguilera and Mick Jagger belt out a duet version of "Live With Me."
That evolving relevancy is solidified in the electrifying duets Jagger performs during "Shine a Light" with current pop stars Christina Aguilera and Jack White of the White Stripes.
The precision with each is played is a tribute to their fabulous musicianship. But it's also a bit too robotic, lacking spontaneity or daring, like that displayed in Aguilera's slithery, sexy grind with Jagger.
Her one song is the film's best moment, which only makes you wonder why Scorsese and the band didn't see fit to do an entire show of duets, or better yet, covers of the southern blues tunes that have always been the Stones' greatest influence.
Quote:
the double-disc set includes duets with Jack White ("Loving Cup"), Buddy Guy ("Champagne and Reefer"), and the increasingly tolerable Christina Aguilera (a sexy "Live With Me").
Quote:
Jagger did some neat match-ups. Christina Aguilera joins him for an inspired rendition of "Live With Me" from "Let It Bleed," and Jack White is sensational on "Loving Cup" from "Exile on Main Street." If the band felt forced to include contemporary performers, these — along with Buddy Guy on the previously unreleased "Champagne and Reefer" — were perfect choices.
Quote:
...and surprisingly getting a ferocious performance from Christina Aguilera, who navigates Mick's complicated, nasty lyrics with ease in "Live with Me."
Christina loves Videogames! Check out this Nintendo themed Last Supper Painting!
This isn't just some regular old Donkey-Kong-as-Jesus painting. Oh, no. It's much more. Dubbed "The Last Supper" and painted by artist Misha, the piece was originally shown at the 2006 I Am 8-Bit show. Hang on, like I said, there's more! The painting is apparently now hanging in Christina Aguilera's baby nursery. If that wasn't enough (it's not), Kotaku's Associate Editor Flynn De Marco has a Misha original tattooed on his bodice. There, all done!
ACCESS HOLLYWOOD EXCLUSIVE Interview!
LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
Since giving birth to son Max two months ago, Christina Aguilera has undergone a fierce weight loss regimen.
As it turns out, nursing her little boy is the real secret behind newly slimmed-down mommy Christina.
“I think they say that when you're breast feeding, you know, your weight kind of slims down. It's a little easier,” Christina told Access Hollywood. “It's like a workout within itself. It’s very tiring actually and you find yourself snacking more often.”
But before Max came, a four-months pregnant Christina (who kept her news a secret at the time) posed as a Hitchcock heroine for a new ad campaign for the Stephen Webster jewelry line.
Christina appeared as a classic femme fatale in the shoot, donning a little black dress, leopard skin belt, stilettos and fishnet knee-highs.
“Where we took the ads I think, is a really original place. It was fun experimenting with that,” Christina said. “Some of the Alfred Hitchcock movies we drew inspiration from for the ads were… ‘Rear Window,’ [and] ‘Dial M for Murder.’”
Christina and Stephen are long time friends. He has designed many pieces for her including her wedding ring.
In fact, the designer confessed that Christina is the muse behind his latest unconventional collection.
“I probably consistently work with her more than anyone else,” he told Access.

Christina Aguilera is FHM's Sexiest Woman
Christina Aguilera's post-pregnancy body hasn't made her less sexy ... on the contrary, she's become sexier since she had her baby!
According to a poll conducted by FHM, which will be announced in April, Christina Aguilera is The Sexiest Woman in the world.
Christina's curvy body has earned her the title, especially that she's showing off her voluptuous body and not running to the gym to loose the baby fat like many other celebrity moms!
The men which voted for Christina Aguilera, increased the voting after she was spotted out and about flaunting her mommy curves and her new mommy boobs! Sorry! I had to say that ... 'cause it's the truth!
Who also made the list? Expectant actresses Jessica Alba, Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman came in way behind! Having baby bumps isn't the right way of making the Sexiest Woman list!
Christina Aguilera has shot up FHM's Sexiest Women list thanks to her post-pregnancy curves.
The singer, who gave birth to son Max two months ago, has attracted 15,000 votes in the past week alone after she was photographed looking swell.
While other celebrities have shed their baby weight with alarming speed, Aguilera has been happy to show off her voluptuous new figure.
She is now in the top 25 of FHM's Sexiest Women in the World list, which will be announced on April 24.
New mum Myleene Klass has also made the top 50 for the first time.
But while men appear to love yummy mummies, pregnant celebrities are proving a turn-off.
Last year's Sexiest Woman winner Jessica Alba has plummeted in the rankings, as have expectant mums Angelina Jolie, Naomi Watts and Nicole Kidman.
FHM's deputy editor Chris Bell said: "It seems men no longer fancy women who are with child, no matter how famous or beautiful they are. Are they just more unattainable - or is it the fat ankles?
"Either way, less and less men find them 'glowing' and 'radiant' any more.
"However, there has been a huge burst in voting for new mothers. Men are obviously attracted to the benefits of a post-natal flush. If you've seen Christina Aguilera recently, you'll probably understand why."
I don't think she is. While I think she's better at singing than Mariah Carey, Britney, Madonna, and Janet, there are many artists with better voices than hers.
I think she's a great combo of looks, personality, down-to-earth-ness, voice and music quality. Best singer alive? Probably not. But I definitely respect her ability.

Christina Aguilera isn’t slowing down on her work schedule even though she’s got a little one to look after. She’s back in the studio and we can expect a new record out sometime this fall. She talked a little bit about the album, saying specifically that she won’t work with Timbaland since everyone else already has.
”This record is going to be very different from my previous record ‘Back To Basics.’ I’m working with a lot of different people so it’s a little hard for me to really go for a specific theme this time around, but I can assure you that it’s going to be a very very interesting record. Am I nervous? Of course but I’m also very excited. I never like to play it safe so it’s always a little risky to release a record that doesn’t sound like everything else out there. I mean, I love Timbaland’s music for example but I would never work with people like that because everyone else is doing it already.”
If everyone’s doing it, it’s for a good reason…he makes hot music! Either way, I’m excited for new music from Christina, I think she has one of the best voices in the biz. Do you agree?
