Not for nothing, mods. But there really was no reason to close the thread where a member asked about stereotypes and perceptions of gay men. It seems as if you allow truly offensive threads to remain open for a while, but jump the gun on topics that could lead to valid and productive discussions. I seriously don't get it.

Your best bet is to just put him on your ignore list if he's being such a nuisance.
Restrict blogs to just contacts and change wall settings to block ignored members.

I don't think the moderators are going to ban him just because he's annoying you.

Although, I'm sure he'll be finding his way out the door sooner than later.
