Bangerz is considerably bigger. ARTPOP has only barely outsold Bangerz and Bangerz has had enough single success to offset Gaga's slight margin with album sales. "We Can't Stop" has sold 3 million+, Wrecking Ball has sold 3 million+ and Adore You is nearing gold. "Applause" has sold 2 million+ and DWUW is barely over platinum.

Miley Cyrus has 3 albums to her name and they have not outsold Gaga's eras. The Fame Monster + The Fame Monster EP have done like 18 million worldwide + 500k for The Remix. 6.3 million for Born This Way and 1.6 for ARTPOP. Miley is actually very local and I had never known this.

And poor local Miley, Wrecking Ball was only a bigger hit globally than Gaga's last 6 singles. She's only sold 30 million albums globally. Her movies only grossed $1 billion at the box office globally. Her TV show only aired in 80 countries globally! How will she ever live, being so local.
