1st Velvet Rope probably is the most bopless Janet record. even 4 & DIL (that are mostly downtempos abulms still have Crazy in love, Countdown, End Of Time, Love On Top, Run The World, etc......)

Only Janet. (the album) can compete with Beyoncé bop-est albums.

DC greatest hits + B'Day only are in the top 3 of the bop-est female albums ever. the 3rd place being saved for B'Day II.

This was clearly a bait thread - and I just fell for it. I like Beyonce but have been stanning for Janet since I saw her in concert when I was 11 (25 now).

I usually don't get involved in these blatant attempts to pit fans vs fans BUT for all these people trying to downplay Janet and disrespect her...let me drop just a little knowledge for you...

Are you aware that Janet Jackson is the ONLY artist IN HISTORY...IN HISTORY to have seven...SEVEN...TOP 5 Billboard Hot 100 hits from ONE ALBUM...(for those that did not get that - Janet had 7 singles from ONE album place within the Top 5 of Billboards Hot 100). This is something NO OTHER ARTIST HAS EVER ACCOMPLISHED and probably never will again.

Everyone...EVERYONE...is allowed to have their own opinions and are allowed to dislike any artists..but please...PLEASE..check your facts before you stan on a message board.
