Let Her Go is nice, enjoyed Carry On, Get Lucky is one of the best from 2013. Stay The Night is a grower, I Was a Fool is nice, Same Love has a great message and the way Macklemore delivered in this song was poetic justice. Mary’s vocals is inspirational, and Ryan does good production in this wonderful song. Really like the style of Love Me Again, like Next Year.
My Songs is a long time grower of mine, Why Am I The One is one of my favs from their album, I do like Holy Grail-Jay-Z’s rap verses are average, but still like it. JT made the song so good. Ehh, the Nirvana sample was not needed. Well , glad Give Me Love is here in this countdown anyways and really love the vibe and sound for this amazing song. Treasure! The throwback style is nice. The trumpet part is good in Can’t Hold Us and is a great jam. Ray did a good job with the hook. Mac’s fast rap verses are stellar and Ryan’s production just as good. La La La is nice and should of listen to more of it, Sweater Weather is one of my favs from 2013, Mirrors is magical, Hold, We’re Going Home brings such a good vibe.
Holding on to you is such a fun song to enjoy, Clairty is such a nice song to enjoy the way the vocals comments with the pieces and says it with volume along with the nice production. Supersoaker is a good song to just enjoy Caleb’s vocals along with the amazing moments of when the sound gets good with the instruments. The Wire is one of my favs from them, Entertainment! Thing We Lost in the fire is just amazing. Dark, but very fun to listen to is the greatness from AM & Do I Wanna Know creates such a moment to get lost into and no questions are answered. Only wanna to enjoy the music. Glad for the success and love for Royals and Gorilla is my fav from the album.
1R finds a way to get some kind of a big hit. Enjoyed Counting Stars and like everything about it. Pompeii is really a great song with such an unique sound to enjoy so much and to appreciate. The trumpets and crazy beats makes the song so wonderful to listen and dance to. Closer is a wonderful pop song, Radioactive is epic and it’s great it’s #1 in this Best of and many others as well.
Oh yeah, great list of artists that I really enjoyed this year like Haim, Lorde, Daft Punk, JT & much more.
Overall great countdown with such wonderful and amazing music. Enjoyed this Best of. 2014 could be even better.
