#04- P!nk f/ Nate Ruess "Just Give Me A Reason"
P!nk and Nate Ruess's collaboration at the beginning of the year was the song that I kept playing over and over again. The way their two voices blended was amazing and definitely in the top 10 of 2013 on a lot of countdowns as it should be. Made it to #04 for me this year.
#03- Lorde "Royals"
The song that broke Lorde out in a big way. Royals is just a great anthem for some young people as I know many young people could connect with the song well. I introduced this song to my mom and it didn't phase her...but once the song broke out in radio...she said have you heard that Lorde song...I said umm...I introduced the song to you two weeks ago. But nonetheless...great song.
and the runner-up for 2013 is #02- Bruno Mars "When I Was Your Man"
When I Was Your Man...the song that you connect with when your girl leaves and you're upset that she left. Bruno has to be one of my absolute favorite artists right now and I can't wait to see him perform at the upcoming Superbowl.
and...drum roll...please...here comes the biggest hit of 2013...yes this song was everywhere and yes I know it is the typical #1...but it was the jam of the year in my opinion...
#01- Robin Thicke f/ T.I. & Pharrell Williams "Blurred Lines"
Everyone was bumping to this song this past year...it was EVERYWHERE. Always being played...Grandma's getting into it...just everyone was all about this song at times...loved it. They definitely knew it was a hit before they released it...just a great song...and they gelled so well together.

Bruno's song is nice but I prefer all the other singles from UJ. Blurred Lines is a cute bop but there's plenty of better singles that came out last year, but I can understand why it's #1
JGMAR got old quickly for me, but it's a nice song.
Royals! We have that song in the same place it's so amazing, my favorite pop song of 2013 for sure!
I'm not a big fan of WIAYM but I love the rest of his singles from this era.
