It's all because of the video. If Gaga had delivered us a flawless, visually stimulating, and non-tacky video for DWUW, it would for sure have been a top 5 hit.
It's a shame it got wasted like that. Since there's a lot of hype still for Lady Gaga music videos, she should work that. It's still (when she works with professionals) her strong point. I think it's safe to say that she needs them for her songs to do REALLY well. BTW doesn't count, there was insane hype for her comeback.
