Honestly the pre-ARTPOP era was the most fun The anticipation, the theories, THE HIDDEN FRAME!!!, the impending (or so we thought) slayage Everything up through Swinefest was sooo great, even the torturous blackout

I think ARTPOP is supposed to be a concept album of sorts though Just a pretty messy concept.
But I agree, a well-thought out concept album with a real story could be AMAZING from her. Unfortunately I'm not sure if she'd ever go through with it... she can't even fulfill her promise of every song on ARTPOP having a video (she might have promised that for BTW too, I can't remember )
